I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden motel. Hidden because you can't see it from the main road... Five stars is kind of over the top but I really couldn't complain about anything in my room... Small and cozy room. Very clean! Dated but absolutely the nicest small mom and pop type motel I've ever seen... I will be returning whenever I am in the area...
Before I begin let me just explain the past 6 years I have become a hotel connoisseur, so to speak(NOT purposely or by choice) Ive wasted MY hard earned money/energy worst of all,MYpreciousTIME! So this hotel, "The Palace", its mos-def 100%MY#1 favorite place to rest & relax! The rooms are truly so beautifully put together and well organized. The atmosphere the energy is qtruly only the actual Motel itself but Miss Eva the owner and or manager is the reason
I love this hideaway retreat for me and my hubby! It's secluded laid back in the wooded territory of Brownstown Mi ! Not to mention it very affordable for moderate income! Always very pleasant staff!
I have been coming over to this place since 2005. Cleaniest motel I have ever seen in this part of Michigan. I give 5 stars because it deserves it. I would suggest calling before you visit, sometimes when i come over all the rooms are occupied.
Needs new comforter or something . just seemed a bit old.you can still be old but clean..but ok little hide away..

I'm a tree climber from da Soo eh and I stay here every time I'm working my way south. It's always been quiet it's off the road so headlights aren't an issue. Plus there's an ashtray in the room so I'm not ashing into beer cans. I highly recommend
